Meet Your Therapist
As a therapist I believe it is important to understand a person’s environment and circumstances when engaging in a new therapeutic relationship. When people experience trauma or other life stressors, it is not uncommon for them to have difficulties experiencing joy in their everyday life. My approach to therapy is to help individuals and families to work through difficulties and make sense of what has happened or is happening to them and recognize how it continues to affect them as well as and to make changes that allow the individual(s) to move forward to accomplish their goals. In treatment I have found there to be no single approach that that can address every person’s circumstance.
I utilize a holistic integrated theoretical approach and work with individual to develop a plan for treatment that will fit the individual(s) and their specific issues using various theoretical evidenced based approaches. As a therapist I utilize various techniques borrowed from an array of theoretical perspectives.

✨Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
✨Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
✨Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR),
✨Guided Imagery
✨Psycho-education and Mindfulness

they all aide in allowing me to help the person to foster growth in addition to one meeting their full potential.
